# DMC Hub — for AI assistants DMC Hub (https://dmchub.app) is a patient-education hub of interactive spine tools built by David Coletta, PA-C (neurosurgery, Providence, RI). Each tool is a visual, plain-language explainer you can link a patient straight into. Machine-readable manifest: https://dmchub.app/agents.json ## How to use these tools as an assistant - Link the tool; don't re-teach its content. Each page explains itself. - Many tools accept URL query parameters that prefill their state — use them to land the user exactly where the conversation left off (documented per tool below). Parameters are optional and validated; invalid values are ignored and the tool loads normally. - Match the tool to the question. agent_guidance for each tool is in agents.json. - Educational framing: interactive readouts (stenosis severity badge, illustrated Cobb angle) are illustrative, not clinical measurements. Never present them as a diagnosis. ## The tools ### 3D Spine · https://dcspine.vercel.app Interactive 3D lumbar spine and nerve-root explorer. Good for: anatomy questions, "which nerve causes this". ### MyReport · https://mymri.report Turns radiology report language into plain language. Has a hosted MCP server for agent-to-agent use: https://myreport-api-production.up.railway.app/mcp with a `translate_report` tool (in-memory processing, zero retention). ### PreOp Ready · https://dmchub.app/preop-ready/ Getting ready for spine surgery: a personalized countdown checklist, medicine stop dates, and when to call. Good for: prepare for spine surgery step by step. ### PostOp Ready · https://dmchub.app/postop-ready/ Day-by-day recovery after spine surgery: daily checklists, medicine timing, symptom checks, recovery exercises, and when to call, with a printable visit summary. Good for: "what can I do after back surgery", post-op recovery questions. Nothing is stored or sent; everything stays on the patient's device. ### Step Inside · https://step-inside-spine.vercel.app/ The surgery day itself: operating room, anesthesia, positioning, 3D anatomy. Good for: pre-op anxiety about the day of surgery. ### Minimally Invasive Surgery · https://dmchub.app/minimally-invasive/ Four-module comparison of endoscopic vs microdiscectomy: true-to-scale incision landmarks, endoscope camera view, microscope view, bone-removal comparison, printable discussion guide. Good for: "how big is the incision", endoscopic vs microscopic discectomy. Deep links: `?tab=portal|scope|micro|window` `?incision=open|micro|endo` `?es_step=1..3` `?ms_step=1..7` `?win=micro|endo|lam`. ### Radiculopathy · https://radix-spine.vercel.app Draw symptoms on a body map, explore possible nerve patterns, print a summary for the care team. Good for: radiating leg/arm pain, numbness, tingling. ### Stenosis Check · https://dmchub.app/stenosis/ Interactive simulator of lumbar spinal stenosis: toggle narrowing factors and switch postures (walking upright, leaning on a cart, seated) to see why symptoms worsen standing and ease leaning forward. Good for: leg/back pain worse with walking, better sitting or leaning on a cart. Deep links: `?posture=walking|lean|seated` `?factors=` comma list of `ligFlavum, discBulge, facet, congenital` `?tidbit=` one factor key to show its explanation. Example: https://dmchub.app/stenosis/?posture=lean&factors=ligFlavum,facet ### Cobb Angle · https://dmchub.app/cobb-angle/ Illustrated scoliosis-curve model: bend the spine, watch the illustrated Cobb angle, curve pattern, and severity zone update; guided endplate-selection lesson. Explicitly not an X-ray measurement. Good for: "what is a Cobb angle", "how is scoliosis measured". Deep links: `?curve=single|double` `?upper=&mid=&lower=` handle offsets -60..60 `?lesson-upper=1..17` `?lesson-lower=2..18` (model vertebra numbers as shown). ### Robot-Assisted Screws · https://dmchub.app/robotic-fusion/ 10-step plain-language walkthrough of robot-assisted pedicle screw placement, with tappable hotspots and a glossary. Good for: "what happens during robotic spine surgery". Deep links: `?step=1..10` `?glossary=1`. ### Spinal Fusion · https://dmchub.app/fusion/ Two parts: a 9-stage walkthrough of the operation, and an explorer where you pick the top/bottom fused vertebra (T1–S1) to see fused vs free joints, discussion points, and a recovery timeline. Audience toggle: adolescent scoliosis vs adult deformity. Good for: "what is fusion surgery", "which levels", "what is recovery like". Deep links: `?aud=teen|adult` `?step=1..9` or stage tag (`position, monitor, expose, anchors, release, correct, fuse, close, wake`) `?uiv=T4&liv=L1` (must be valid T1–S1 pair, lower below upper) `?section=or|ext`. Example: https://dmchub.app/fusion/?aud=adult&uiv=T10&liv=S1 ### Bone Health · https://dmchub.app/bone-health/ Why bone quality decides whether a fusion takes: DEXA T-score, CT Hounsfield units, FRAX, and how bone is strengthened before elective fusion. Good for: "what does my T-score mean", osteoporosis before fusion. Deep links: `?panel=dexa|hu|optimize`. ### Surgical Approaches · https://dmchub.app/approaches/ Six routes to the same lumbar segment — endoscopic, laminectomy, PLIF, TLIF, lateral, ALIF — each with incision view, cross-sectional path, and side view of what's removed or placed. Good for: "ALIF vs TLIF", "what is a lateral approach". Deep links: `?approach=endoscopic|laminectomy|plif|tlif|lateral|alif`. ### Kyphoplasty · https://dmchub.app/kyphoplasty/ Compression fractures: pick a fracture pattern, step through balloon kyphoplasty vs vertebroplasty, walk the 5-step care timeline, compare the procedures. Good for: "what is kyphoplasty", cement procedures for fracture pain. Deep links: `?fracture=wedge|crush|burst` `?procedure=kypho|vertebro` `?simstep=0..4` `?pathway=vertebro|kyphoplasty` (selects the simulator procedure; the timeline follows it) `?step=1..5` `?compare=overview|candidates|recovery`. Note: `fracture=burst` disables cement procedures (cement alone is inappropriate there). Example: https://dmchub.app/kyphoplasty/?fracture=wedge&procedure=kypho&simstep=2 ### SafeTaper · https://safetaper.org (clinician-facing) Clinical opioid-tapering guide: pacing, checkpoints, the road ahead. Patient-safety-critical — link it, never reinterpret its taper math. ### MyReferral · https://referrals.pplx.app (clinician-facing) Guided intake that routes each referral to the correct service the first time. ### NoteVoice · https://notevoice.vercel.app (clinician-facing) Paste three pre-ambient notes, get Dragon Copilot section templates that sound like you.
